During the consultation, we will assess if we are a good fit to work together. We will discuss your goals and needs to make sure that you feel comfortable with me as your therapist and that I can provide the necessary care. During the initial intake session with a therapist, I will ask questions about your medical history, lifestyle and symptoms. We will talk about what treatment could work best for you and make a plan to meet your individual needs. This session is also an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and build a therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect.
Step 3: Start feeling better!
Through therapy, you can work on understanding yourself and learning how to cope with life’s challenges. It can also help you gain new perspectives and make positive changes in your life.
